Yes, I finally started the Song of Ice and Fire series! I'm almost 300 pages in and I love the writing so much. Love the way the story is told, the descriptions of the lands and kingdoms. It is awesome :)

Hi Myra, how are you? Looks like you have a good plan for March. I'm looking forward to your review of the first book as I'm always searching for interesting books for my daughter. She's ten and a really advanced reader, but so many of the YA books are too heavy on the romance, and many of the MG books seem silly to her - it's really hard to find a good fit!

I can understand that it can be difficult to find books for your daughter. Did she read the Percy Jackson series? I think that's a great series for her age(and older ;p).
I have read Insurgent but I've not yet read the last book in the trilogy.
