I don't know what it is about this series, but I enjoy reading them. They are fun, short reads I like to read when I want a break from reading bigger books.
Review
Sure, there are some things that aren't great, like the incredibly short timeframe all of the events take place. This is the sixth book and starting at the first book, only 3 of 4 months have passed!
I also really feel that this bookseries is especially enjoyable for the younger teenagers. I actually read the first couple of books when I was about 14 years old and I remember really loving them. Now I still enjoy them, but I'm aware of the flaws the series comes with.
I do have to say I like Morgan. She shows some of her own faws during the series and a non perfect protagonist is a nice change from others we read about. I also like most of the side characters in this series, like Robbie and Morgan's sister Mary K.
Morgan's love for Hunter came very sudden. She really hated him first and moments later she is totally in love with him.. It did show how she's a young teenager who's not sure what she wants. Sometimes she really seems like she just wants somebody, a boyfriend, to take care of her.
Don't get me wrong, I like Hunter and I also liked their romance, but she switched very fast from hating him to loving him.
To be honest, I don't know if I'll read all the books in this series (there are 15 books?) I'll juist have to see with each book if I'll enjoy it enough to continue and to overlook the flaws.
Overall, it is a nice, fun and very fast read. I always fly through these books.

I love witches, and this book seems good enough! I don't know if I'll actually read the series as you say, 15 books are very long...! Great review though :)

Wow - I read this series years ago and ultimately enjoyed it. Although some of the books are a little filler like - I think Awakening and ... ahh, whatever books 7 and 8 are called, they were my favourites. Lots of Romance and Actions in those ones :) Nice review - they really are pretty short reads!
